"Mei goldig" - would have a positive undertone, but rarely related to a person in such a way that one would show him or her special respect. Golden in any case were the days when the Boettners restaurant, which used to be located in these premises, was one of Munich's gourmet temples - a long time ago. Now that the premises have been taken over by the former operators of the "Kleines Kameel", they have once again developed into a very nice and culinary respectable place to go. Basically Italian in style, the cuisine varies somewhat and has also been able to maintain the appealing level of the former venue. The hosts float through the restaurant attentively and in a good mood, and the other service is also impeccable. The gain in space now provides the team with more design options. The very beautiful wooden tables form a wonderful contrast to the stuccoed ceiling. We also like the fact that there are a few higher tables, which are also suitable for a drink in between. Only the transition between the high and normal tables, which is given at one point, is not always happy under certain circumstances, depending on the situation. However, this does not detract in the least from our positive overall assessment.
