Raskolnikoff / €€

RESTAURANT & HOTEL - REGION SAXONY /

The name, which is a little strange from a German point of view, is derived from a character in Dostoyevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment". Without going into the storyline, we think that this naming is inspiring for a house that is well versed in the seduction that comes from good food, and which is also artful in the rooms above and invites you to spend the night (room). We don't want to put a stop to your imagination regarding the upper rooms, but good food can never be a sin. Only the best ingredients are used in the kitchen and wherever possible the producers are local. The style of cooking is traditional in parts in a light way and leaves enough room for interesting excursions into the nearer and wider world. The range on offer satisfies not only meat lovers but also vegetarians and vegan guests. When the temperatures are right, the almost unique garden in Dresden's Neustadt district is a popular place to go. The interior is also a good place to spend time. Thanks to a South German investor, who was also the host for a long time, the historic charm of the entire building has been well preserved, and the design of the dining rooms is a beautiful blend of old and new. All those who wanted to consign this institution to demolition would, loosely based on Dostoyevsky, have incurred a lifelong debt that cannot be paid off through atonement.

The opening hours indicated refer to the restaurant.
